NOTE: RIO, IGO, and NCM have all been highly committed in the region. RIO declared a Maiden Inferred Mineral Resource of 503Mt@0.45% CuEq at the Winu project in 2020, and continues to invest in the JV with AZY and SRI. IGO budgeted another $17m in FY22 largely through JVs with ASX penny stocks AZY, ENR and CYM. NCM estimated an initial Ore Reserve of 1.6Moz Au and 73kt Cu at Havieron JV, 45km east of Telfer, it also partners with AZY for the next discovery in the region.

AZY has itself increased its resources at the Minyari Dome Project to 1.75Moz Au while CYM has been re-working at its Nifty Copper Mine.

Overall, AZY, ENR, CYM, and A1C, are the hopeful penny stocks in the region.
